All About The Grateful Shed
Welcome to the GRATEFUL SHED web site. First, let me introduce myself as Jeff Waschbusch "THE ORIGINAL SHEDHEAD" and owner of Grateful Shed Company. Well, what can I say, I was bit by the almighty antler years ago and I haven't stopped shed hunting yet. I have been from one end of North America to the other several times and experienced some of nature’s most beautiful sights. I have to tell you my favorite sight is a giant set of sheds lying on the ground. They are amazing pieces of nature’s artwork that are created by some of the most remarkable animals in the world; they are then left for us like buried treasures in the fields and woods. Sometimes left sticking out of a farmer’s tractor tire! Sorry George, I missed that one in your hay field! True story! But my personal favorite, as most of you know, is the whitetail deer. There's nothing like walking up on a magnum sized whitetail shed and photographing it as it lies on the ground, never touched by human hands. Well . . . until I pick it up and put it in my back pack. We all have sheds that we are grateful for, so I invite you to send us your pictures of your grateful sheds so that we can post them on our web site -- for all of the world to see. All finds and sheds are welcome; whitetail, mule deer, moose, elk etc. Preferably pictures of the sheds as they lie on the ground, but all are welcome. If you have an original story about one of your finds be sure to send it also. I hope to hear from you soon.
God bless,
"The Original Shedhead"
